Call for Artists: “MY CANADA!’” Art Show

We are excited to announce an open call for artists to participate in our upcoming art show, “My Canada!”. This exhibition invites creators of all mediums to explore and showcase what Canada is to them through their unique artistic lenses.

Theme:

From breathtaking landscapes and wildlife to culture, community, and everyday moments—show us what Canada means to you.

Entry Fee: $5 per submission (goes toward the People’s Choice award)

Submission Requirements: Must be ready to hang with picture wire (assistance available at the Village Gallery)

Deadline: June 7 by 4 PM (drop off/email at the Village Gallery)

Drop-off: June 14, 8–10 AM at Whitevalley Community Centre Hall (arrange someone to drop it off if needed)

Photography Contest

Capture the energy of the season! This year’s Monashee Arts Council Photo Contest will have 8 categories for adults and youth (under 16) along with 2 Challenge categories, these themes are designed to spark creativity and push photographers to see things a little differently.

Far and Wide – scenes from across Canada

Seasons of the North

Deadline: All photos must be dropped off by June 10 by 4 PM at Village Gallery

Awards: Judges top picks in each category

People’s Choice Award: Public voting opportunity
